Advantages
Work at home – This is one of the top reasons why having a home-based job is good. You don’t need to ride a bus, take a cab, or even drive your way to the office because you can just work without leaving our own home.
No dress codes – Another advantage of working at home is that there is no dress code. You can wear anything you like. You can even just wear your pajamas while working. It is up to you. You don’t have any boss at home that would criticize the way you dress.
No specific working time – You can work on what time you want, you don’t have any specific time to work. You can sleep late, wake up late, or even sleep again if you want. It is up to you.
No deductions – Working at home will result in more savings because you don’t need to pay for transportation, you don’t need to eat outside, no SSS, Philhealth and more. This can also lessen your gimmicks or hangouts which can cause you to spend more than your budget. Your earning will be 100%, no deductions.
Disadvantages
Distractions – Working at home can be so hard when you can be easily distracted by numerous factors. At home, having a TV is one of the biggest distractions that you might face because if you are into movies, working at home won’t be easy for you. There would be a time that your friend will come over to invite you to go somewhere else. If you have kids and you’re the only one to take care of them, that’s also a big problem.
Lowers discipline – Because you are working at home, you might already be too comfortable with the setting. This might cause you to be always late, cannot meet the deadline and etc.
Work and home life already merged – There would be a time that customers will still contact you even during the middle of the night while you’re at your bed sleeping. It is because they think that you will entertain queries at any time of the day. This might sound irritating but it happens.
